An Iliz:

Open all year round, the An Iliz crêperie is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and high-quality cuisine. In the dining room or in the garden, you can enjoy traditional Breton buckwheat galettes and wheat dessert crêpes. The recipes, made with fresh local produce, are presented in a gourmet style. Local specialties include fish soups, pan-fried scallops and smoked salmon. You can also opt for generous mixed salads.

Just outside Theix, La Fleur de sel has been awarded the “restaurant du terroir” and “maître-restaurateur” labels. The restaurant’s traditional, regional cuisine features fresh, local, seasonal produce. The wine list features only vintages from French owner-growers. At La Fleur de Sel, depending on the season, you can enjoy roasted langoustines, monkfish medallions in bacon breadcrumbs, Mr. Le Meur’s pigeon with cocoa, or roasted Rhuys tomme. Desserts include mi-cuit of salted butter caramel with ribot milk ice cream, homemade macaroons and Breton shortbread flavored with basil.

The historic center of Vannes :

Behind the medieval ramparts, surrounded by formal gardens, you’ll find lively alleyways lined with colorful half-timbered facades. Don’t miss the Château de l’Hermine, the famous “Vannes et sa femme” sign, La Cohue (fine arts museum), the Château Gaillard, the Tour du Connétable and the Cathedral Basilica of Saint-Pierre de Vannes. From the marina, you can organize sea outings to discover the Gulf of Morbihan and its forty or so islands, or to Île aux Moines and Île d’Arz.
