  • The Pen Mur site: to the north of the town of Muzillac, the Pen Mur pond is a favorite with fishermen and walkers. Its banks are home to a mill that was converted into a paper mill in the 1940s. Today, it’s one of the few mills in France to continue the tradition of making paper from fabric.
  • The market: Muzillac has been awarded the “village étape” label, and is particularly lively on Friday mornings, the day of the weekly market. Le circuit des Chouans: an almost 8 km hike from the village of Muzillac along the pond through a variety of landscapes. A must-do after the market, with plenty of local produce for a picnic!
  • Pointe de Pen Lan: this coastal point marks the northern limit of the Vilaine estuary. It is home to a 19th-century lighthouse, 18 meters high and recognizable by its red and white colors.
  • Le dolmen du Crapaud: also on the coast, the dolmen du crapaud takes its name from its evocative shape. The retreat of the cliff has led to the disappearance of the access corridor, leaving only the remains of the chamber.
